Terms of use
Last updated: 4 September 2026
1. The service
Flyp ("Flyp", "the service") is a product of Larkspire, operated by Larkspire Inc Ltd ("we", "us", "Larkspire"). Flyp provides software so businesses ("you", "merchant") can capture leads, message customers, quote, and invoice. Customers who use your Flyp link or chat thread are your customers, not ours.
By creating an account or using Flyp you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and — for personal data you collect from your customers through Flyp — our Data Processing Agreement.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate business details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for how you use customer data you receive through Flyp. You must comply with applicable law, including consumer and data protection rules that apply to your trade.
3. Pricing & fees
Flyp is free to start with no monthly subscription fee during this phase. Flyp does not process payments and does not charge a fee on your invoices. Customers pay you directly by bank transfer or cash, and the full invoice amount goes to you.
4. Payments
Flyp is invoicing software, not a payment processor. Invoices are settled directly between you and your customer by bank transfer or cash.
- You are the seller. You sell your own goods or services to your customer. Flyp is a software platform — we are not the merchant of record for your jobs, we do not handle or hold your money, and we do not become a party to the contract between you and your customer.
- You collect payment. You are responsible for collecting payment, confirming it has been received, and marking invoices as paid in Flyp.
- Bank details. The bank-transfer details shown on your invoices are provided by you, and you are responsible for their accuracy.
5. Refunds & disputes
You are responsible for your customer relationships, including delivery of work, refunds, cancellations, and complaints. Because payment is made directly to you by bank transfer or cash, any refund or payment dispute is between you and your customer; Flyp does not process payments and is not involved in settling them.
6. Data protection
You are the controller of personal data your customers submit through Flyp. We process that data as your processor under the DPA. You must have a lawful basis to collect it and must not use Flyp to process data you have no right to process.
7. Platform controls
To protect customers, merchants, and the platform, we may review activity and at our discretion suspend or terminate access to Flyp for fraud, abuse, or legal risk, or require additional information before restoring access.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Flyp for spam, illegal activity, or to collect data you have no right to process. Do not submit false identity or banking information. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or put customers or the platform at risk.
9. Content & liability
You own your business content and customer conversations. Flyp is provided "as is" during early launch — we work hard to keep it reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost jobs, missed messages, payment outcomes between you and your customers, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes are posted on this page constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: contact@larkspire.co.uk.
